Marissa likes dancing, and Sebby likes basketball.

Marissa is an enthusiastic and self-reliant 13 year old girl, and Sebby (Sebastian) is her engaging and funny 8 year old brother.  The siblings are of Caucasian descent and are legally free for adoption.  Marissa loves being outside, playing soccer, and dancing.   In her current foster home, she does well with structure and routine.  Marissa is in the 6th grade and loves school.  She is very enthusiastic about learning.  Sebby enjoys playing video games and is very athletic.  He enjoys skateboarding, rollerblading, and basketball, and even says he wants to be a professional basketball player when he grows up!  Sebby gets along well with his peers at his current residential placement.  Sebby does well in school where he has a 504 plan, and benefits from additional support with reading.  Sebby has difficulty with anger management and testing limits.

Marissa and Sebby would do best in a two parent home of any constellation or in a one parent home with a lot of additional supports.  Ideally, they would be the youngest children.  Their future family should also be supportive of birth family contact.  The siblings are very excited about being adopted, and Sebby is even making lists about what he hopes his forever family will be like.  The ideal family will be ready to provide Marissa and Sebby with love, patience, and support.
