Kyle is a friendly and outgoing sixteen year old young man of Caucasian descent who is legally free for adoption.  He engages well with others and has diverse interests, including music, fishing, and camping.  He is interested in cooking and loves learning new recipes.  His favorite thing that he cooks is Portuguese soup.  In school, Kyle benefits from a specialized setting and the help of an Individualized Education Plan.  Kyle also benefits from counseling and medication.  He is mechanically inclined, and enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together.  When he grows up, Kyle would like a career where he could work with his hands.

The ideal family for Kyle is an experienced family with two strong parents of any constellation or a single strong parent with a lot of supports.  A family without other children or a family in which Kyle could be the youngest sibling would be best.  His social worker is looking for a family ready to provide Kyle with the support, encouragement, and supervision that he needs.  The ideal family will also be open to maintaining birth family contact.
