Ashley is a confident 15 year old teen of Puerto Rican descent. She considers herself to be friendly and kind and prides herself on being open to different cultures. She is extremely sociable and has a wide, diverse group of friends. She likes to sing, write music, create art, and read poetry. Pop and hip hop are her favorite genres of music to listen to, but she adds that she would also like to learn to play an instrument, perhaps the guitar. Ashley hopes to find a family that will encourage her to lead an even more active lifestyle and to try new extracurricular activities.

Ashley does very well in school, where she is a B average student, and has aspirations of pursuing a college degree after high school graduation. She has several career ambitions including becoming a lawyer, doctor, or police officer. Ashley would like a home that will promote openness and honesty. She hopes to find a family that is willing to bring forward issues as well as accept any issues that she may bring forward. Ashley enjoys being the center of attention and would thrive in a home that can support her to achieve her long term goals. Ideally, she would like a two parent family consisting of a mother and a father or two fathers who have older children or no other children living in the home. Ashley is legally free for adoption.
