HI!
My name is Lisa Marie. “I love spending one-on-one time with people!”
Let
me tell you more about myself… I want to try Girl Scouts.
And
here’s what others say…
Lisa Marie is a sweet and strong-willed eight year old Latina girl who is legally free for adoption. Lisa Marie is in the second grade where she does well academically and has an Individualized Education Plan that provides social and emotional supports. She enjoys watching movies and drawing, as well as videogames and Barbie’s. She has previously participated in after school programs and done very well. She he would benefit from engagement in additional community activities such as Girl Scouts, where peers can model typical social behaviors. Lisa Marie benefits from individual therapy and at times she can struggle with hyper-vigilance. She can also struggle with her sharing skills and following the rules. Overall, Lisa Marie is doing well in her current intensive foster home, and hopes to find a family who will commit to her. Medically, Lisa Marie is a sickle cell carrier, but she does not have any associated symptoms.
Lisa Marie would do best in a two parent family with no younger children in the home. Lisa has expressed that her ideal family would be a mom and a dad with an older sister and a pet. Her future family should be patient and calm, but also have the ability to be firm and stick to routine and schedule. Lisa Marie will do best with supervision and clear boundaries. She works well with incentive-based behavioral plans. The ideal family will also be comfortable with birth family contact.
