HI! My name is Cynthia.

"I’d like to be a veterinarian when I grow up!"

Cynthia is a creative, smart young girl of African American descent who excels both academically and socially. She tends to be shy and guarded when getting to know new people. After she warms up, she is outgoing and friendly. She has a great sense of humor and has a contagious laugh and smile. Overall, she is a happy and carefree 7-year-old girl who enjoys being active playing sports and being outside. She has been involved in swimming, soccer, and gymnastics. She is a natural athlete, and sports tend to come easy for her. Cynthia loves animals and learning as much as she can about them. She also enjoys individual time with caretakers and quiet activities, such as coloring, reading, and arts and crafts.

Cynthia enjoys going to school and learning new things. She has strong receptive language and can be very expressive at times. Cynthia thrives when she feels safe and supported. Cynthia is resilient and has built strong coping skills over the years. She is learning to use her voice to ensure her needs are being met. She does well in a predictable environment where the expectations are clear and fair.

Legally freed for adoption, Cynthia would thrive in a patient, nurturing two-parent home, possibly with siblings either older or younger. Currently, Cynthia has monthly visits with her birth parents. The order for post adoption visits is written at the discretion of the adoptive family.
