HI! We are Izaiah and Jaxon.
“We want to be adopted together!"
Izaiah and Jaxon are sweet and affectionate brothers of Caucasian and Caucasian/African-American descent who are looking to be adopted together!
Three-year-old Izaiah (Izzy for short) is silly and active. He loves Mickey Mouse. He likes to run and play, watch movies, and spend time with his younger brother. Izzy is also caring and sensitive, and has a great sense of humor. Izzy attends pre-school and is supported by an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for speech and language skills, as well as social/emotional needs. Izzy has limited vocabulary for his age and struggles to communicate, which he finds frustrating and can lead to tantrums. Izzy also struggles with transitions and going to new places.
Jaxon is two-years-old and loves to be hugged and held. He is quick to smile and laugh, and enjoys being with his older brother. Jaxon is very small for his age and just recently started walking. He is considered “failure to thrive” due to a lack of caloric intake and is on a strict eating routine to help him gain weight. Jaxon is also behind developmentally and receives early intervention services.
Not yet legally freed for adoption, Jaxon and Izzy are looking for a patient and loving two-parent family who are willing to advocate for their needs. Their social worker is open to families with or without other children in the home. Izzy and Jaxon have an Open Adoption Agreement, which states that they must visit with their birth-mother twice a year in Massachusetts.
