Introduction

Richard is an engaging, playful, energetic and very friendly boy. He has also been told that he has a great sense of humor. He enjoys playing video games, watching movies, riding his bike, and playing sports. Richard has many close relationships with peers and adults in school. He is most successful in a small classroom setting and receives some assistance in his classes for social and emotional needs. Richard performs well academically overall receiving A's and B's. He is described as having immense kindness and compassion, being very intuitive, being very polite and exceptionally respectful of others. And he firmly believes that it is important to stand up for others and is not afraid to stand up for himself either.

Richard would do well with a family constellation that can offer him much structure, routine, and limit setting. His new family should also be loving, trauma informed, committed, and patient. He would also do well with older children in his new home or as the only child in his new home. Richard has a close relationship with his older sister. His new family should help him maintain contact with her including in-person visits. Richard also has a relationship with his maternal aunt. Phone contact with her, at the very least, should be maintained.
