Introduction

Genesis is a very happy, sweet, friendly and well-mannered child.  She loves to play with slime as well as create arts and crafts projects.  She also loves to hang out with friends, ride her bike, swim and she loves gymnastics and martial arts.  She would like to go to college one day and become a veterinarian. She loves animals.  She is in the 5th grade in a public -school setting and receives educational assistance to help her with some delays, emotional growth and with literacy and math skills. She has been described by her teachers as attentive, respectful, and a pleasure to have in class.  Her friends also describe her as kind and helpful.  Genesis receives outpatient counseling and psychiatry services which are recommended to be continued. She also has an adjustment disorder which has led to mood and emotional deregulation which makes it difficult for her to focus on her schoolwork and follow directives.  Genesis does well in a family setting. Currently she has monthly in-person visits with her 13 year old brother.
