Introduction

Joshua, who likes to be called Josh,is a friendly, active, outgoing and talkative young boy who likes to tell stories.  He is also helpful and likes to be assigned jobs so that he can feel helpful.. When he leaves school each day he will make a point of waving "good bye" to each his teachers. In the second grade Josh receives assistance in school with social, emotional needs and assistance with speech. Josh thrives on praise and helping others. He is described as having a great sense of humor.  He likes to make others laugh and forms bonds quickly . Very family oriented he enjoys talking about his siblings.  Playing video games is one of Josh's favorite activities. When he is outside he likes to jump on his trampoline and swim.  He also enjoys playing soccer and basketball. He has played in a soccer league and is currently signed up to play on a basketball team.. Josh has plans for his future and someday he would like to be a policeman. He would do well in a single mom home where he is the only child or with much older children. His new home should be well structured with a set rules, routine and much patience. Josh is the middle child of 8 siblings with whom he has a close relationship. He loves them all dearly and he will need the help from his new family to maintain contact with them on a regular basis.
