Introduction

Taiwan is strong, independent, and engaging! He is also athletic and is a skilled basketball player. On a beautiful day, you can find Taiwan playing basketball, fishing, or swimming. Taiwan loves to cook, and even has had part-time jobs delivering meals and bussing. He hopes to get a part-time job in a grocery store in the near future.

Taiwan will do well with a supportive and consistent family from New England or New York where there are at least two caregivers. Taiwan identifies as Black and it is important to Taiwan that his heritage be celebrated. He also envisions having his own room. It is important that any pre-adoptive families support Taiwan in maintaining connections with biological family.
