Introduction

William, who likes to be called Will, is an active. fun and funny boy. Outgoing, he very much enjoys being with his friends and is very sociable both in school and after school.. He has a witty sense of humor, is reflective, is a good listener and loves to make people laugh. He enjoys going to parks. arcades, camps, play basketball and build with Legos. Will is also very sensitive and concerned for the feelings of others. He is described as being very helpful to others and very polite. Will is somewhat of an old soul. A very bright boy Will needs some nudging as many children do to stay on track with his education. Will has made improvement his school grades over the years and he often makes the honor role with a little help from his educational plan for social and emotional support. He does very well with one on one attention and has a great relationship with his teachers, school staff and especially his guidance counselor. He gets along well with younger and older children. He has an older sister and brother with whom he maintains an ongoing relationship and he looks up to his older brother and sister for guidance and as role models. Will would fit in well in any family constellation with or without other children in the home. An out of state family will be considered for Will providing that this family can commit to helping him maintain visits with his siblings and grandmother who all live in western MA and with whom he is very close. A family or individual who would be a regular visitor to Will would be ideal for him at this time. Will is going to need some time to feel comfortable and time to build a trusting bond with this person or family before a conversation can start about adoption.
