Introduction

Josiah is a funny and kind kiddo that makes friends easily. Although he can be shy when first meeting someone new, he warms up quickly, having good relationships with teachers and peers. He loves caring for animals, especially cats and would love his own in the future. He already has the name picked out, Shadow. In his free time, he enjoys playing Roblox on his tablet, and watching some of his favorite superheroes, which include Sonic, Ninja Turtles and his all-time favorite, Spiderman!

Josiah started seventh grade this fall 2025 making incredible progress already. He has an educational plan to support his academic goals and attends a social skills group to continue building that social interaction confidence. Following his school day, he enjoys attending an after-school program. Although he is not a fan of organized sports, he enjoys swimming and being outside. Sometimes loud noises can get overwhelming and wearing a set of headphones is a comforting way for his to adapt to those loud noises.  Like most kids, he enjoys eating “good food”, including pancakes with extra syrup.

Currently, Josiah is placed as the only child in his foster home and is described as a “joy to be around”. Josiah would do well in a home with younger children, older children, or no children at all and does well with one-on-one attention. He prefers a home with two parents, a mother and father. Josiah participates in monthly sibling visits with his three brothers and sisters which he looks forward to.
