Introduction

Michael, who likes to be called Mikey, is a bright and friendly boy. He is a great dancer but tends to be self-conscious when others are watching.  He is also learning to play the guitar. He recently played on a football team, was an excellent player, and really LOVED it. Mikey is also very curious and likes to ask questions about what he does not understand. He is an avid reader and likes to read book series.  Outdoor activities like fishing, hiking, camping  and most sports are also high on his list of his favorite things to do.  Very bright and smart he is in the 8th grade but does need some support occasionally to stay on task with his school work. Mikey does have a great sense of humor and can make anyone laugh. He can light up a room with his smile and laughter. To meet Mikey is to love him. Mikey longs to be part of a loving home. He will do great in a home that can offer structure, routine, and clear expectations. He will thrive in a home of any family constellation where he would be the youngest child by at least 5-6 years or with no other children.  He will need a family committed to working with him when he struggles and will applaud him when he is successful.
