Introduction

Sachira is a very funny, silly and sweet little girl who is a pleasure to be around. Easily engaged she loves to be involved in physical activities like sports ( she is a very good athlete) dance, aerobatics and gymnastics. She also enjoys singing, playing games and being outside. She has a big heart and is kind to everyone and loves all animals. Full of energy Sachira lives in a foster home where she loves to be involved with her foster family's activities. Also very affectionate and loving Sachira has been described as a social butterfly. She does best when she is prepared to move from one activity to another. She also does best in a calm environment with no yelling, no raised voices or loud noises.

Sachira enjoys school. She attends a public school, is performing at grade level in all subjects except for reading. However, she does receive assistance in reading and is making progress in that subject as well. Bright, bubbly and very amusing are words that have been used describe Sachira. She loves to dance and will perform if asked once she feels comfortable with her audience. She loves all types of animals and is a BIG Taylor Swift fan. Just recently Sachira has taken an interest in knitting.

The ideal family constellation for Sachira would not have in it children younger than her but a family with children much older than Sachira will be considered. An active family is also important and one that can provide her with a structured and loving home. Her new family should be able to devote a good deal of time and attention to her as well as much love. She has two older brothers with whom she will need to maintain contact. Sachira has asked that she not be placed with an out of state family  so that she visit with her brothers on a regular basis.
