Introduction

Jay'Vaughn is a bright, funny, and creative boy, who has contributed his own thoughts about his strengths to his profile. If he isn't found on the basketball court shooting hoops with his peers, Jay'Vaughn can be found in the music room creating his own songs or showing others around campus his magic tricks! He also enjoys going to trampoline parks, spending time outside, watching Marvel movies, and playing with dinosaur toys. Jay'Vaughn is very sociable and cares deeply about his connections with others. He is a very compassionate and considerate child, and he enjoys being a helper to others. Jay'Vaughn does well in school, where he is provided with additional support for his academic and social-emotional needs. His favorite classes are science and recess, but he is typically able to engage in all subjects throughout the day. He enjoys learning, especially about different animals. He has been able to form positive relationships with others, and he enjoys spending time with adults he trusts. His favorite snack is Takis, but he also enjoys trying new foods. His dream is to visit the Bahamas one day and to have a pet Kangaroo!Jay'Vaughn would do best in a home that can can provide structure, consistency, and dependability. He does best with predictability and routine, in addition to clear rules and expectations. He would benefit from an active family who can support his high energy and is willing to try new activities with him. He would require a family that is trauma informed and knowledgeable of his needs, and he should be the only child in the home. Jay'Vaughn should also be provided with opportunities to engage in community activities to continue fostering his interests and talents.
