Introduction

Jadalynn is a creative girl who is described as kind, humorous and very funny. Although she enjoys art projects Jadalynn appears most content when she is physically busy and active. She performs at grade level with the help of an education plan for social and emotional needs. She is currently attending therapy at school and at home so that she more easily express her wants, needs, and feelings. She is also working through the trauma of loss and separation from her birth family. Jadalynn would do well in any family constellation. However, she should be the only child in a home or in a home with much older children so that she can receive the attention that she needs. Jadalynn would like to be in a professional position someday to help other children who have lived in foster care.  Her brother and sister both lives in western MA and she will need a family who will help her to maintain in-person visits with them on a regular bases. Jadalynn is very nurturing and playful sister when she is around therm.  Jada is working on herself by using coping skills to self regulate along with  mindfulness, respect of others and being a good advocate for herself. Jadalynn would currently benefit from having a resource such as a frequent "visitor" who would be able to establish a trusting relationship with her in hopes that this relationship could lead into some sort of lasting connection for Jadalynn in the future.
