Introduction

Miguel is well behaved, easy going and described as great at following the rules and expectation of him.  Hispanic and freed for adoption he is in the 5th grade in school year 2025-2026 and does very well in school with support.   He has a nice relationship with his teachers and gets long well with his peers.  He enjoys school and his favorite subject is ART.  Although Miguel can be socially awkward and innocent for his age this has not been a barrier to making friends. He is  friendly and very caring toward others. He attends special academic classes but then attends mainstream classes for non academic curriculum. He also attends speech therapy while in school. Miguel's favorite activity is playing basketball but he enjoys engaging in many activities especially in his after-school program.  In his free time at his home he also enjoys swimming and playing video games. Miguel once had a visitor who was "not very good at basketball".  Miguel was so patient and kind to this visitor.  He tried to teach them how to play and he did great in the role of teacher and really thrived in that role. He actually gave his visitor more tries than the rules allowed in order to help them be more successful.  

Miguel would do well in any type of family.
