Introduction

Marcel is a sweet, low-key, sensitive child who is always smiling. Those who know him describe him as great kid who is caring, thoughtful and very well mannered. He loves school, is in the 7th grade in school year 2025-2026, and he says that the best part of school is "recess and gym".  He loves superheroes and building with Legos. Marcel plays the violin in the school band and is quite good at it. The athletic side of Marcel plays basketball and soccer and just started taking Taekwondo classes.  He has a great attendance record in school and has no behavioral concerns.  His foster family adores Marcel and he gets along with the other children in the home, one of which is boy about Marcel's age who shares a room with him. They get along very well.  Although Marcel is not a big vegetable eater, he still eats them but in much smaller quantities than he eats chicken, rice and mac'n cheese which he loves. Marcel also loves animals and would like his forever family to have a dog that he can care for.

Marcel would do well with structure and routine in his new home.  Marcel would prefer a mom and dad home or single parent home that has the time to give him much one-on-one attention. Marcel has asked that his new family have an older boy in their new home. But he is willing to "negotiable"on that.  Marcel has siblings and an aunt that he is very close to and he will need regular visits with them.
