Introduction

Dominic is a playful, intelligent boy who is always fun to be around. He enjoys playing soccer and has recently taken up karate. He loves to be outdoors and playing sports. Dominic enjoys playing board games and video games. He is a sensitive and polite boy who loves to have meaningful conversations with others.

Dominic attends school daily, where he receives some additional support. He enjoys learning and does well academically. Dominic likes going to school and spending time with his friends.

Dominic would do well with a two parent family who can provide him with a structured environment with routines, consistency, and predictability. A resourceful single parent with a strong support system would also be considered. Dominic has expressed that he would like a two parent family with at least one male caregiver. A family should have some knowledge or experience with a trauma-sensitive approach and be comfortable accessing therapeutic services as necessary. He would also benefit from continued participation in sports or other community based activities he is interested in. Dominic has a great relationship with his maternal grandfather and it is very important that he can continue to be active in Dominic's life. Dominic also has two visits a year with his mother.
