Introduction

Janelis is gregarious and independent! Janelis loves to sing and spend time outside, although she especially enjoys reading, specifically comic books like "Smile". Janelis loves to explore new cuisines and some of her favorites foods are Spanish foods and Chick-Fil-A. She hopes to get her first job and driver's permit in the near future!

Janelis is a passionate high school student! She attends a great school and is rightfully proud of the grades she has achieved. She is also a member of her school's junior varisty volleyball team, and hopes to try out for the basketball team this upcoming school year. She hopes to one day go to law school in order to become a lawyer. 

When describing her ideal adoptive family, Janelis would like to be a part of an experienced and communicative single-parent household from New England or New York.  She would love if they had a pet dog! It is important that any pre-adoptive families support Janelis in maintaining connections with her biological family, extended family, and mentor.
