Description
This event is intended for Massachusetts pre-adoptive and adoptive families who are parenting a child from foster care placed in their homes.
Join via Zoom the MARE Family Support Services Team for an evening exploring your family’s dynamics and things to consider as the holiday season approaches. We will talk about how adoption affects family dynamics in general, explore holiday “triggers” and considerations to keep in mind, and how to celebrate and honor the traditions of our children while creating new family practices and observances together. The content of this presentation is based on the National Training Development Curriculum for Foster & Adoptive Parents (NTDC) in which MARE staff is trained.
