REGISTRATION NOW OPEN

We’re pleased to invite you to our annual adoption Meet and Greet sponsored by our friends at Jordan’s Furniture!

This morning is open to ANY adult interested in learning more about adopting from foster care, as well as families who have begun the licensing process, waiting children, and their social workers. So no matter where you are at in considering adoption, this event is for you.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the process of adoption and get the answers to FAQ (orientation for new families begins at 9am)
• Meet social workers from across the state and learn about specific waiting children
• Speak with experienced families who have already adopted
• Learn about the supports available to adoptive families
• Participate in games, arts and crafts and activities with waiting children ages 5+

***Note as of 9/29/2023 at 8:30PM, online family registration is closed. Walk-in registration is available for families new to the process on Sunday morning. If you are a MAPP-trained or home studied family and would like to come, email Liz Joyal - lizj@mareinc.org - for registration instructions.

Social Workers:  This event is open to any waiting child who is registered for recruitment with MARE.  In addition to bringing waiting children, staff are invited to come speak with new families, meet with licensed families, or serve as a general event volunteer.   If you're a social worker and you have any questions, please contact Emily Goldberger at emilyg@mareinc.org
