Waiting families who have completed MAPP are invited to attend this two-part event focused on waiting youth of color. Participation in both parts of the event is encouraged but not required

6:30pm – 7:30pm: A discussion focused on Parenting a Youth of Color: Racial and Cultural Competencies & Tips and Tools from Experienced Families

7:30pm – 8:30pm: Families will have the opportunity to meet with adoption social workers and learn about waiting youth and sibling groups of color, and discuss potential matches.

This is an in-person event with capacity limits and masks will be required by all attendees. There will be no waiting children in attendance.
