For Families:

This full-day affair is for families who have begun MAPP training or beyond, and includes a morning of training, followed by a lunch and fun fest with waiting children and their social workers.   

8:30 am - Registration and Breakfast

9:00 am  - Welcome and Orientation

9:15 am - 12:00 pm - Panel Presentation and Break-Out Sessions for pre-adoptive families, including sessions on Legal Risk, Maintaining a Child’s Connections, the Matching Process and more

12:00 pm - 3:00 pm - Lunch and activities with waiting children and their social workers

For Social Workers

Join us for an outdoor afternoon adoption mixer at Assumption College with in-process families.  Children and teens will enjoy a bungee run, caricature artists, airbrush tattoos, game tables, a DJ and a dance performance by Phunk Phenomenon.  Workers are welcome to set-up boards to discuss youth on their caseload.

Social workers please note: Adoption party events do not begin till 12:00 pm. Children should not arrive until this time.

The deadline for Child Registration is June 28th.
