Description

This workshop is designed to equip adoptive and foster parents, especially non-Black parents raising Black children, with a clear, compassionate, and culturally grounded understanding of protective styling.

You’ll learn the true purpose of protective styles, how to maintain those styles week to week, and how to spot and avoid the most common mistakes parents make. From choosing styles that support growth to understanding how protective styling can build confidence and emotional connection, this session is packed with insights you won’t find on YouTube.
