Description

Children’s Friend is happy to be offering an adoption from foster care MAPP training series for individuals and couples interested in becoming a pre-adoptive family resource.  This training series will be one of the first of the new MAPP trainings offered in the state. The new MAPP consists of 6 virtual 3-hour group MAPP meetings every other week over two and a half months. On the week prior to each virtual group MAPP meeting, individual participants are required to complete a few e-learning courses at their convenience. Ongoing support is available.

Virtual MAPP Meeting Dates – Thursday evenings 3/5, 3/19, 4/2, 4/16, 4/30, 5/14

Participants are enrolled in MAPP training after they have completed an application and the pre-screening process, which includes background record checks and a home safety check.
