Description
Trust is built in relationship — but trauma can make trust feel unsafe. In this 90-minute session, we’ll explore how early adversity and hard experiences shape the brain, body, and belief systems, often making connection difficult.
As part of our TBRI® series, this overview will help participants understand:
- How trauma impacts attachment and felt safety
- Why survival behaviors often look like defiance or control
- The connection between fear, regulation, and trust
- Why traditional discipline approaches often fail children from hard places
Grounded in principles developed by the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development, this session lays the foundation for understanding why connection must come before correction.
Certificates of participation will be given for training hours.
