Description
Join us for a comprehensive 3-hour overview of Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®), a trauma-informed, attachment-based approach developed by the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development.
TBRI® is built on three core sets of principles — Connecting, Empowering, and Correcting — designed to meet the complex needs of children and teens from hard places while strengthening trust in everyday relationships.
During this interactive session, participants will:
- Gain an understanding of how trauma impacts the brain, body, and behavior
- Learn how connection builds trust and reduces power struggles
- Explore strategies to support regulation and felt safety
- Practice practical tools for correction that preserve dignity and relationship
Certificates of participation will be given for training hours. Contact Liz Joyal with any questions: lizj@mareinc.org
