At MARE, we know that all children deserve a safe, loving place to call home. However, the reality is that in Massachusetts, there are currently 1,400 children and teens in foster care awaiting adoption who have no relatives or other potential adopters.

That's why thousands of walkers, runners, volunteers, and supporters from across Massachusetts are participating in the 17th Annual Jordan's Furniture Walk/Run for Adoption!

Our Neighborhood Walk events make it possible for you to participate in the Walk/Run for Adoption wherever you may be! Host an event with friends and family in your own community or join a Neighborhood Walk near you. All Neighborhood Walks with five or more registered participants will receive a "Walk in a Box" kit - complete with t-shirts, signs, and more surprises and fanfare to make your event special. All the funds raised from this event go towards helping children and teens in foster care find adoptive homes!
