In this virtual interactive event, you'll hear from experienced adoptive parents who will share personal stories and answer questions about foster care adoption from their perspective.

Additionally, MARE’s Family Support Services Coordinator, Emily Goldberger, will give an overview of the process of adopting from foster care in Massachusetts. She will talk about who the children and teens who need adoptive homes are, the different agencies that you can work with to become licensed to adopt from foster care, the steps in the licensing process, and more.

While anyone considering or pursuing adoption from foster care in Massachusetts is welcome to attend, this event will be particularly useful to those who are just starting out and are interested in learning more about foster care adoption and whether it is right for them.
