Description

Please join us to meet children with varying levels of support needs from across the state. Activities will include group games and arts & crafts. Light refreshments will be provided.

This event is open to families at any stage of the adoption process; we are also hoping that families interested in becoming a visiting connection (a supportive, ongoing relationship in which an adult or family regularly spends time with a young person in foster care—without the expectation of adoption or fostering) for a child will attend this event.

Families can network with social workers and learn more about the resources to support children with disabilities in their community.

In preparation for this event, there will be a Zoom meeting on Friday, August 28th at 7pm. Families may join to ask questions and get information about expectations.
