Join us for our annual Adoption Option Meet and Greet, sponsored by our friends at Jordan’s Furniture in Reading, MA!

 

This event is open to any adult interested in learning more about adopting from foster care, as well as families who are currently in the licensing process, children and teens in need of adoptive homes, and their social workers. Whether you're just beginning to explore adoption or are already in the process, this event offers valuable opportunities for everyone.

 

If you are a “new” family (just starting to learn about adoption from foster care), you will have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the process of adoption and get answers to FAQs
• Meet social workers from your area to discuss the licensing process in more detail
• Speak with experienced families who have already adopted
• Learn about the supports available to adoptive families after placement

If you are an “in-process” family (currently in MAPP or further along in the licensing process), you will have the opportunity to:

• Meet social workers from across the state and learn about specific children and teens in need of adoptive homes
• Speak with experienced families who have already adopted
• Learn about the supports available to adoptive families after placement
• Participate in games, arts and crafts, and activities with children and teens in need of adoptive homes ages 5+

With thousands of children and teens in need of adoptive homes, we invite you to join us on Sunday, October 25th, at Jordan's Furniture in Reading, MA, to explore foster care adoption.
