MARE invites pre/adoptive families to a series of Trauma-Informed Parenting virtual trainings facilitated by Fostering Hope’s TBRI® practitioners. This opportunity is intended for Massachusetts pre/adoptive families who have completed MAPP training.

February 2023 Statewide Social Worker Matching Meeting

Please note that this event is for social workers only. Family Resource Workers are invited to present waiting families at this virtual event that are hoping to be matched with children, teens and sibling groups, ages 6+. We are particularly looking for families that are open to teens, large sibling groups, LGBTQ+ youth, youth of color, and youth with medical and developmental needs.

Winter Warriors Meet and Greet

Join us to meet waiting children and sibling groups of all ages and to speak to their social workers. Activities at the event will be fun and interactive, and will include running obstacle courses like those seen on “American Ninja Warrior.” Participation is not mandatory and you are also welcome to watch the athletics, and chat with children and social workers in a quieter environment. Light snacks and beverages will be served.

Spring Meet and Greet

This in-person Meet & Greet is for pre-adoptive families that have completed MAPP, waiting children (ages 5+) and teens. Pre-adoptive families are invited to join us to get to know some of the incredible children, teens and sibling groups waiting for adoption and the social workers who know them best. Pre-adoptive families will also have the chance to speak with experienced adoptive families.
