Spring Meet and Greet
This in-person Meet & Greet is for pre-adoptive families that have completed MAPP, waiting children (ages 5+) and teens. Pre-adoptive families are invited to join us to get to know some of the incredible children, teens and sibling groups waiting for adoption and the social workers who know them best. Pre-adoptive families will also have the chance to speak with experienced adoptive families.

Southern Region Meet and Greet
Families who are currently in MAPP training or beyond in the home study process are invited to meet in person with adoption social workers in the Southern region to speak about waiting children.

Understanding and Supporting Your Transracial Adoptee
In this two-hour virtual presentation, Isaac Etter will share with families his experiences as a transracial adoptee, ways parents can prepare for transracial adoption, best ways to support their transracial adoptee, and a practical guide for conversations about racism and cultural identity formation. Isaac will share resources and leave time for Q&As.

14th Annual Jordan's Furniture Walk/Run for Adoption
Join us for our 14th Annual Jordan's Annual Walk/Run for Adoption! This event includes festivities, food, games, balloons, and family-friendly fun. Walkers and runners are invited to complete a 5k fun-run and all the funds raised from this event go towards helping children and teens in foster care find adoptive homes. Can't join us in person? Virtual participation is also an option!

MARE is hosting regular live webinars for Massachusetts residents about the adoption from foster care process. MARE is not a licensing agency, but as a support agency we are able to guide you on next steps of your adoption journey. Join Liz Joyal, Family Support Services Coordinator, for an engaging presentation that will tell you what you need to know about the adoption from foster care process in MA and direct you on next steps to take to move forward in the process.

TBRI® Trauma Informed Parenting Training
MARE invites pre/adoptive families to a series of Trauma-Informed Parenting virtual trainings facilitated by Fostering Hope’s TBRI® practitioners. This opportunity is intended for Massachusetts pre/adoptive families who have completed MAPP training.
