Introduction

Daniella and Destinee are  loving and beautiful sisters in need of a family. Daniella, the big sister, is quiet, reserved, and thoughtful. Though she may be soft-spoken, her smile has a way of lighting up any room, and she genuinely enjoys forming connections with others. She has a creative spirit, often expressing herself through her love of anime and handmade crafts. Daniella enjoys creating necklaces and bracelets, especially as gifts for friends and loved ones. Her favorite colors are purple, red, and black and they reflect her unique and expressive personality. Daniella loves to snack on Takis, chocolate, and Oreos.

Destinee, little sis, has an outgoing personality and a fantastic sense of humor. She is full of energy and a true ball of sunshine who loves to dance, be silly, and make everyone around her smile. Her favorite colors are pink, red, and blue, which perfectly match her bright and vibrant spirit. Destinee enjoys spending her time going to the movies, skating, and playing at the park.

Daniella attends a local public charter school, where her favorite subjects are reading and writing because they demonstrate her strengths. She is currently enrolled in an after-school program that provides homework support. Daniella participated in a dance program, which she enjoyed, showing both enthusiasm and commitment throughout her involvement. Daniella is a kind and caring individual who values her school community, including her teachers and friends. With appropriate support and encouragement, Daniella continues to make progress in her learning and development.

Destinee, like her big sis, also attends a local public charter school, where she enjoys spending time with her teachers and peers, and playing outside during recess. Her teachers describe her as kind and caring, and she continues to build confidence in her abilities with additional support. Destinee has developed a particular interest in math. Daniella and Destinee reside with a foster family where they maintain a loving relationship. They have formed a strong bond with their foster parents and their extended family. Daniella meets with her adoptive mother weekly. Her open adoption agreement stipulates three visits per year with her birth mother.

It is essential that Daniella and Destinee remain together, as they share an exceptionally strong and meaningful bond. They need a family that is experienced, well-equipped, and committed to supporting their unique needs, while also actively advocating for their educational and care management services. As children of African American descent, it is important that their future family is open to nurturing their cultural identity and providing opportunities for them to stay connected to their heritage and community. Prospective families must also be willing to honor ongoing connections that are important to the girls, including weekly visits with their kin/former adoptive mother, as well as three visits per year with their birth mother in accordance with an open adoption agreement.
