Video Production Internship

Commitment: Part-time
 
MARE’s Communications Department is seeking highly motivated video production interns for single semester and double semester internships (Fall, Spring, Summer). The video production intern will work to produce high quality video segments and photos that promote MARE's work and raise awareness about adoption from foster care. This internship will provide an ideal training ground for an intern to put their video skills into action in the real world. We will be pursuing an aggressive content creation schedule, so the intern for this position will quickly gain experience in all aspects of unscripted, documentary-style video production. 
 
If you are a creative with journalistic flair, looking to sharpen your skills in videography, editing, photography, interviewing, and writing - this is your ideal internship. 
 
Our flagship video program consists of creating videos for children in foster care, to aid in the recruitment of adoptive families. An example video can be found here: https://youtu.be/eR5xq7Onz1o 
 
MARE is seeking interns for this position for upcoming school semesters. 
Start and end date are flexible.

Requirements

- Relevant education or experience in film production, videography, and editing 

- Relevant education or experience in photography/photographic journalism 

- Access to a reliable vehicle for travel to various locations in Massachusetts 

- Entry-level aptitude with Adobe Premiere
