MEET
SYRIANA

Syriana is a talented teen artist who loves to help people
“When I think about art, I draw things that I feel”
A very creative teen, Syriana just loves to spend time drawing. She is quick to take out a pencil and sketch out; she enjoys drawing flowers, especially roses. “I think roses represent me the most. You put them in water, they grow, and they bloom. When they bloom, I think about it as me, achieving all the goals I need to achieve.”

One of Syriana’s creations recently came to life as a t-shirt (check it out!). It’s not a regular shirt; it has the power to help find adoptive families for kids in foster care like herself. In just a few days, her design titled “Love Is The Hook To Our Lives" was purchased by over half a dozen people, and she officially became a selling artist! Her shirt evokes our need to feel loved and love others.
“When people are feeling down, I bring them up. Me helping people and being kind brings me a lot of joy.”

Drawing is hardly the only kind of talent Syriana has. This animal lover is an excellent horseback rider who shows a great deal of confidence and trust in herself. As you can tell by now, Syriana doesn’t shy away from a challenge.
One of her favorite subjects in school is math and, unlike many of us, she enjoys learning about the different ways to solve math problems. When she is older, Syriana wants to help others with their problems by being a role model. A compassionate teen, Syriana also wants to dedicate her time to getting adults and children out of poverty.

The piece missing in her life is a family that will help her navigate her teenage years and prepare her for early adulthood. She is looking for a family who can provide her with the love and support she needs and deserves. “I believe everybody deserves to have a loving family and I am hoping that there is one out there for me. I feel I would be a good addition to a family because I am helpful, joyful, kind, and enjoy new experiences."
